1. NEW: altec Full Metal Stick USB
up to 4 GB
Currently, our rugged and compact
for tough environmental conditions is available in the following
capacities: 1, 2 and 4 GByte.
The flash memory is encapsulated in an about 2 mm thick aluminium
case. An optional cap-holder made of stainless steel protects
the USB connector against mechanical damages.
We offer a standard version for a temperature range 0°C to +70°C
(operating) as well as optionally a version with protection class IP68 and
extended temperature range –40°C to +85°C (operating).
On request we can provide you with versions with MIL Standard
as well as with custom case designs, colours and laser-engraved
2. New USB Stick CopyStation 21 available
by the end of Q2
We would like to introduce our new USB Stick CopyStation 21,
which will be available within Q2. It is the ideal solution
for everyone who wants to do large scale programming of USB memory sticks.
The new USB Stick CopyStation 21 is a further development
of our USB Stick
which is the perfect entry level solution for the duplication
of data images to up to seven USB memory sticks simultaneously.
However, this CopyStation has, as the name already suggests,
The in-house developed software matches in its »look & feel« all
the other altec CopyStations.
In this CopyStation, as well as in all memory card copy machines, know-how
and experience of seven years of CopyStation development are combined.
The user interface is selectable for a German or an English
version. The USB Stick CopyStation 21 is compatible with Windows XP.
Of course our USB Stick CopyStation for seven USB sticks
is still available.
3. elincom electronics – distributor
of the month
From now on we will use this newsletter to provide you with
information about our business partners. This month we will
introduce our Dutch distributor
The 1975 in Capelle aan den IJssel founded elincom electronics
became distributor for all altec products in 2004.
Since its founding,
elincom electronics has become a special distributor of electronics and
electromechanical components of more than 40 leading international manufacturers.
Most customers are based in the Netherlands, but in the
meantime about 20% of the total turnover is generated abroad, especially
in Eastern Europe and Asia.
